As an OB-GYN, the work I do isn't just delivering babies but also caring for women so they can lead long and fruitful lives. My grandmother is a uterine cancer survivor. She is still with us and doing very well, and part of that is due to the care of her OB-GYN who caught her cancer early. She's an inspiration to me, and I keep her in mind when I care for my patients, so that they too can live a long and healthy life.
